Our success is built on taking our products to the customer. It is almost impossible to choose and match fabrics and colours unless you are in the room where they are to be fitted. Our customers know this and greatly appreciate the service we provide. Our service doesn't end there. Our training programme ensures that you will have a full understanding of the product range and what will best suit the customers needs. Once again, our customers have come to expect this level of expertise from Dorset's leading Blinds, Awnings and Curtain supplier.
The position best suits a husband and wife team but can be met by an all round individual. The job is basically in two parts. The initial visit to the customer to measure the windows and help with product and fabric choice and then a return visit to fit the product. The first part of the job calls for a helpful nature, good colour sense and the ability to listen to what the customer wants and then show the best possible solution for them.
The second part of the job calls for high level DIY skills or even semi professional fitting skills.
Both parts of the job require formal training which will be provided.
In certain circumstances it may be possible to do only one part of the job. We may be able to match a fitter to presenter for example so don't be put off applying if you feel you are well suited to one or the other.
In the beginning it is best to be a part timer. The job is very enjoyable but it does take time to learn. It also takes time to know if this is the full time career you want. Our full timers stay forever. You can work evenings, weekends or both. Days if you are a shift worker elsewhere. The extra money is always welcome and you can decide if want a full time career with Ashley Blinds.

These towns are the centre of areas. It is best if you live where you work but you can cover from nearby. Weymouth, having sea to the south, is best served from within the town to cover Weymouth, Portland, Dorchester and possibly Bridport with all towns and villages inbetween.
